Hauge í Gongini
Hauge Í Gongini is a visual artist who studied at Trondheim and Malmö Art Academy. In his works, he explores the juxtaposition between the natural and the artificial. His works are situated in this juxtaposition and, as dialogues, question the notion of authenticity and the hierarchy between the physical and the virtual. Hauge, being half Faroese and having lived most of his life in Denmark, is contributing a video installation in which he explores his relationship with the Faroese landscape and a country that, for him, is suffused with memories, stories, and a sense of distance.
