Owen Hindley (he/him) is a digital artist renowned for his innovative use of software, electronics, and sound to create award-winning work for stage, screen, and spatial installations. His art is rooted in live performance, where he builds reactive tools and systems that produce stylized and spectacular representations of the natural world and physical forces.
Hindley’s works range from the playful (a supermassive game of PONG on the facade of Iceland’s concert hall, Harpa), to the conceptual (Into the Universe Of Technical Images, a 7 x 4K screen video piece exhibited at Design March 2023) and critical (Spegill, a public pop-up video work made with Högni Egilsson to protest whale hunting). In addition to his live performance collaborations, he has directed music videos and created interactive experiences for the likes of Imogen Heap (Last Night Of An Empire), Dustin O’Halloran (Harmonic Dream Experience), OKGO (Lambchild Superstar), and Bonobo (Outlier VR experience).
Þorsteinn Eyfjörð Þórarinsson (he/him) is a sound and visual artist based in Reykjavík, Iceland. A graduate of the Iceland University of the Arts, Þorsteinn's practice is centred around time-based mediums, with a particular focus on sound as it interacts with archival practices, the memory of audio material, architectural space, and the distortion of time. His art is a testament to his relentless exploration of the interplay between visual and auditory mediums, pushing the boundaries of sonic artistry to create work that is as thought-provoking as it is aesthetically captivating.
A rising star in score creation and sound design, has created work with the likes of Dustin O’Halloran, Herdís Stefánsdóttir, Francesco Le Metre and Snorri Hallgrímsson. His compositions have been featured in internationally acclaimed TV shows and movies including the Essex Serpent (2022, Apple TV+) and The Disappearance Of Shere Hite (2023, ThisMachine Filmworks). Most recently, he worked on M. Night Shyamalan’s latest film, Trap (2024), as Assistant Composer for Herdís Stefánsdóttir.
