What is Tonik.fo?

Tonik is a premier Nordic tech and art conference taking place in the Faroe Islands. We foster connections, collective intelligence, and growth within the Nordic and global tech startup ecosystem, celebrating the intersection of creative thinking, innovation in technology, and artistic expression.

How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased through our website by clicking the "Buy ticket" button. Early bird tickets are available for 1500kr, with general release tickets priced at 2500kr.

Can I attend if I didn't pre-order?

Yes! General release tickets will be available after the early bird period ends. However, we recommend purchasing early as space is limited.

What's included with my ticket?

Your ticket includes full access to all conference sessions, workshops, networking areas, exhibitions, dinner, refreshments throughout the day, and Evening Aurora.

Is there an age limit for attending the event?

Tonik is open to all ages. However, Evening Aurora may have age restrictions depending on the venue's alcohol licensing requirements.

What is the dress code?

Business casual is recommended. Wear what makes you comfortable and confident. The Faroe Islands can be cool, so we recommend bringing a jacket.

Event Details

What activities or entertainment will be available?

The event features keynote presentations, panel discussions, interactive workshops, startup pitch sessions, art installations, live music performances, and dedicated networking sessions. Evening Aurora includes three distinct areas with different atmospheres.

Can I get a schedule of events?

Yes! The detailed schedule will be published on our Schedule page closer to the event date. You can also use our event app to create your personalized schedule.

Will there be food and beverages available?

Yes! Your ticket includes dinner featuring Faroese delicacies, as well as refreshments throughout the day. Evening Aurora will also feature food and beverages.

Are cameras or recording devices allowed?

Personal photography is allowed for most sessions. However, some speakers may request no recording during their presentations. Official event photography will be available after the event.

Is the venue accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes, all Tonik venues are wheelchair accessible. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us in advance so we can ensure your needs are met.

COVID-19 & Health

What are the COVID-19 safety protocols?

We follow all Faroese government guidelines regarding health and safety. Specific protocols will be communicated closer to the event date based on current health recommendations.

Transportation & Accommodation

How do I get to the Faroe Islands?

The Faroe Islands are accessible by air via Atlantic Airways from Copenhagen, Reykjavik, and other European cities. We recommend booking flights early. Information about recommended accommodations will be shared with ticket holders.

Tonik offers extensive networking opportunities including dedicated networking sessions, the use of our event app to arrange meetings, interactive workshops, and Evening Aurora with three distinct networking areas designed for different conversation styles.

Will I have free time to explore the Faroe Islands?

The main conference takes place on May 8th. We encourage you to extend your stay to explore the stunning Faroe Islands. Tonik Week also offers additional events and activities throughout the week.
